Projects

Over the last 18 years we have worked with all three levels of government and the private sector to deliver carefully researched, evidence-based advice across a variety of transport issues.

Here is a showcase of projects we have been involved with, focused on assisting government develop strategic transport policies designed to make cities work better - economically, socially and environmentally.

  • Electric Vehicle Ownership Across Australia

    We've used a combination of Commonwealth data to take a look at how EV ownership varies around Australia.

  • Frankston Integrated Transport Strategy

    We recently completed the 2022 - 2042 Frankston Integrated Transport Strategy. Known as Connecting Communities, the Strategy provides a blueprint for guiding investment and policy decisions designed to enhance the sustainability fo the transport system.

  • Melbourne e-Bike Share Evaluation

    We were commissioned to evaluate the Lime e-bike share trial and provide recommendations for the future of e-bike share in Melbourne.

  • Sydney Bike Network Prioritisation Framework

    We were commissioned by Transport for NSW to develop a geospatial prioritisation framework to assist in the staging of their expanded Principal Bicycle Network for Sydney and Parramatta.

  • Wonthaggi Access and Movement Study

    We developed this place-based transport strategy focused on increasing the vibrancy and sustainability of the Wonthaggi CBD.

  • Yarra Ranges Integrated Transport Strategy

    We prepared a 20-year Integrated Transport Strategy for Yarra Ranges, a peri-urban and partly rural municipality on the eastern fringe of Melbourne. The Strategy was endorsed by Councillors in May, 2020.

  • Launceston Sustainable Mobility Plan

    We developed the Launceston Sustainable Mobility Plan, as part of a larger consortium. Our work helped Launceston take advantage of changes to transport technology to support Launceston’s ambition to become Australia’s most liveable regional city.

  • Hobart Cycleway Demand Assessment

    The Tasmanian Department of State Growth commissioned us to develop a method for estimating cycling demand changes for a proposed upgrade to a major piece of cycling infrastructure in Hobart.

  • Bicycle network Model – Inner Melbourne

    This project, the first of its type in Melbourne, built a network model that estimated cycling levels across all streets and paths in inner Melbourne.
