Overview
We have looked at ABS and BITRE data on electric vehicle ownership to visualise how EV ownership varies across Australia. The interactive map below allows you to click on a postcode and see how many EVs are owned, up to 2022, and how this has grown over time. We have decided to include by pure battery only and plug in hybrid EVs, although battery-only EVs constitute the overwhelming majority of the EVs included in the map.
